Levelhead Wealth Management is being built for families, executives and business owners whose wealth runs across property, business and super, and who are tired of separate advisers who never talk to each other. We open in 2029 in Sydney and Newcastle.
Nicholas Clunes
Founder
Nick started his career as a business banker at Greater Bank, structuring lending for trusts, companies and multi-entity groups and supporting the senior banker across the bank’s twenty largest credit exposures. It is where he learned how credit committees think.
In 2021 he moved into broking and lodged more than $100 million in loans in his first twelve months. A year later he founded The Lending Lab and Andorra Private in Neutral Bay, arranging residential, commercial and development finance for business owners, developers and private clients, from $250,000 to more than $50 million.
He also builds the software his firms run on. As co-founder and CTO of BrokerSidekick, he has written tools that track pricing across a loan book and run eighteen lender scenarios at once. He runs Groundwork Commercial, a free education platform for commercial property investors.
Away from work he splits his time between Mosman and Lake Macquarie, flies light aircraft, and each Easter commentates the pig section at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Why Levelhead
After years arranging finance for people with significant wealth, Nick kept seeing the same gap. The lending, the investment strategy and the long-term plan were handled by different firms, on different timelines, often pulling in different directions.
Levelhead joins them up. One relationship, one plan, with private wealth, ongoing advice and lending working from the same set of numbers. The name is the approach: calm, considered decisions, made with the whole picture in view.
We are taking the time to build it properly. The team is being assembled now, ahead of opening in 2029 once the right people and licensing are in place.
